Back in 2012, Calvin Johnson dethroned Jerry Rice by setting the NFL single-season receiving yards record, finishing with 1,964 yards. It's a record that has felt pretty safe for a long time, but Jaxon Smith-Njigba is knocking on the door. 

Through 15 weeks, JSN currently has 1,541 receiving yards with 3 games left to play. To break the record, he'd need 423 yards, which would come out to be around 141 receiving yards per game. It's a lot to ask for, but it isn't impossible.

• Week 17: Panthers
• Week 18: 49ers
