Sony Open Preview
The PGA season kicks off this weekend with the Sony Open at Waialae Country Club in Hawaii. The course is a par 70 that plays at about 7,000 yards. According to my source, Ethan Burns the greens are tough on this fairly short course. I'm gonna target some of the better putters and short game players, given that it shouldn't be hard to get to the green in regulation.
The Guys
Harry Hall
Harry is coming off his best season yet, finishing top 5 in putting stats, as well as being one of the bigger hitters on the tour. I expect him to start this year very strong and be in contention plenty to start the season. Are you telling me this guy below isn't gonna go off this weekend? Gimme a break.

Kurt Kitayama
Kurt is coming off a 2025 season that started about as slow as possible. In his first 10 starts of the year, he missed the cut 5 times, with his best finishing position being T33. He then tried to refine his swing a little bit after the slow start and finished the season incredibly strong, with 3 top 10's and a win. I expect him to continue this dominance against a fairly light field this weekend.
